About NAS
The project was founded in 2017 based on the practical and academic experience of its founders, with a clear vision, mission, and business objectives. The founders identified and developed a platform dedicated to replacing the existing daily labour methods with systematic online processes and techniques.
To verify the product's market fit and workflow, we have conducted two pilots since inception. Accordingly, we have identified areas for improvement that would differentiate us from our current and future competitors.
The Daily Labourers Project began out of a desire to contribute to the needs of society by providing daily employment opportunities to help combat poverty and unemployment. The founders recognise the community's need for an online employment agency that fills the void left by other temporary and permanent employment agencies. Since its inception, NAS Project has won several awards, including:
- Best Entrepreneurial Project Award for the capital, Amman, for the year 2018-2019, through the Zain Initiative 3 program, organised by Zain Jordan.
- It won third place for the year 2019-2020, for the Aqaba Governorate, from the IPARK organisation.
- It was incubated by the Amman Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Intaj Organisation and the Irada Business Incubator.
- It qualified for several local, regional, and international finals, due to its significant social impact, including the employment services it provides to youth in the community.
This launch has since gained momentum, with NAS project employing more than 5,000 daily workers across several sectors, most notably the hospitality industry. The company's founders also sought continuous modernisation and development, which led to the creation of the region's first electronic platform for managing daily worker requests.
Why NAS
The challenges of rising poverty and unemployment rates in Jordan and surrounding countries, the deteriorating economic situation due to global crises, and the tendency of a large segment of projects and investments to reduce the size of their permanent workforce, and based on our desire to contribute socially to finding realistic solutions, the following objectives have been identified as challenges that the project is working to achieve:
- Increase income for individuals, so that young people can have decent living conditions that suit them in society and spare them the problems associated with poverty and unemployment.
- Providing job opportunities to bring about important, decisive, and positive changes in individuals, groups, and local communities by creating an adaptation between the individual and the social environment in which they live, making them productive elements.
- Achieving equality at work, achieving equality in employment and providing equal employment opportunities among different segments of society, regardless of gender, race, religion, or place of residence.
- A positive addition to the Gig sector, developing and advancing this profession to meet modern challenges by setting clear boundaries for this service and its professional and scientific components, and providing trained personnel capable of achieving these goals.
Target Audience
The project is an online daily jobs platform that works as a mediation service targeting the following categories:
- Companies and organisations that create and pay for daily work orders use the project's comprehensive portal platform to request daily workers. The platform provides the tools needed to manage this entire process. These companies are billed by the NAS Project.
- Daily Worker (Day Worker) - Local youth between the ages of 18 and 40 of both genders are targeted for daily employment across multiple industries. Daily work (daily labour, contingent labour, casual labour, or contract labour) is employment in which the worker is hired and paid once for each day worked, with no promise of further work in the future. It is an employment relationship with limited job security, payment based on the day, and is typically part-time with variable hours and considered non-permanent. Daily workers are often referred to as consultants, freelancers, independent contractors, independent professionals, temporary contract workers, temporary employees, or casuals. Workers are billed by NAS Project daily after each day's work via an electronic wallet or account.

NAS system is an online platform that provides human resources brokerage services to help companies reduce recruitment costs and increase productivity.
The daily workforce is the process by which employment transitions from permanent positions to casual and contract positions (daily jobs). NAS platform is an online daily job brokerage service that offers daily job opportunities for young people to supplement their knowledge, experience, and pocket money. It focuses on replacing the current offline daily recruitment process in the market with a systematic online employment process that allows companies to benefit from (requesting daily workers, accepting worker applications, an efficient classification system, worker profiles, electronic invoicing, and dynamic online workflow) across multiple fields and industries.
A separate (sub) platform is provided for each client to request daily workers after specifying the type of work required, gender, time, date, and number via the website. This enables the client to send their request to each worker registered on the website for daily work that meets the specifications in the client's request. The registered worker submits the client's request if they are available to work at the required time and date. The client then displays a list of those who have applied for them. The client selects them based on several factors (name, photo, evaluation grades, number of work days, and training completed via the website). Each worker who applies for the client receives approval from the client to work that day. Suppose the client selects them from among the required number. In that case, the client then has the opportunity to (evaluate, write a recommendation, prefer, or block) any of the workers who have completed a work day at their facility via the website.

This requires a high level of communications governance and process management that allows us to listen to the open-ended questions we present to both clients and daily labourers and provide practical answers and innovative solutions (not just talk and sell our services).
